SET VIEWER PARAMETERS IN XML FILE

The Zoomify Image Viewer available in prior product editions (for example, the Flash-based Viewer) was able to receive parameters in an XML file, rather than in HTML directly in the web page. To do so, only the path of the XML file was provided as an HTML parameter, and any other desired parameters were included in the XML file.

The Zoomify Image Viewer now supports the parameter zXMLParametersPath in order to support these legacy XML parameter files - as well as to support XML files including current edition parameters. Note: when using legacy XML files, only those parameters not supported by the current Viewer will be ignored.

In addition, the XML filename path can be included in the HTML in three ways: as a replacement for the image path (and including the image path as an XML parameter) OR as a separate HTML parameter after the image path (and not including the image path as an XML parameter) OR as a separate HTML parameter after the image path with the image path provided as null (and including the image path as an XML parameter). For full details see the Parameter List document in the Documentation folder.
