Annotations extend hotspot functionality with enhanced features including freehand drawings, polygonal labels, measurments, and more. Support for HTML in captions is included, as in the up-right arrow label above.

This example presents a very simple display - just a list of the labels - and even that can be hidden with the HTML parameter zAnnotationPanelVisible=0.
