Zoomify HTML5 Enterprise includes everything in Zoomify HTML5 Express and everything in Zoomify HTML5 Pro plus enterprise-level features required for mission critical applications involving multi-megapixel and multi-gigapixel images.

Prerequisites

	Authoring: manual and batch image conversion of TIF, PNG, BMP, and JPEG files is supported on Windows and Macintosh with no special setup. Additional formats and platforms are supported with converter upgrades sold separately.
	Publishing: using just HTML, JPEGs, and one small JavaScript file, the Zoomify content can be hosted on any web server and is compatible with popular publishing, and ecommerce software.
	Viewing: all popular browsers are supported on all platforms including PCs, Macs, iOS, Android, and more - all without any special downloads or installs.
	Licensing: The Zoomify Converter is licensed per user - just like Photoshop and other imaging software. Your content is your own - no royalties, no strings. The Zoomify Image Viewer JavaScript file is freely redistributable on web sites or CDs/DVDs - however - the image filter and annotation enabled Enterprise implementation of the Viewer is licensed per web server. If you require support for mutliple servers please inquire with us about mulit-seat and site licenses. For detailed information please refer to the Zoomify License Agreement.




Prior Version Notes

*	PFF single-file storage continues to be supported, however, the new ZIF single-file storage format is recomended in most contexts. ZIF does not require a servlet or servlet container on the web server, and does not involve server-side JPEG processing to fulfill tile requests. It is therefore simpler to implement, easier to maintain, and faster to use. Sites serving audiences requiring support for older browsers (such as IE8 and earlier and versions more than three releases prior for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari) PFF storage may be preferred as ZIF viewing is not currently supported on these older browsers. For customers with large image collections, the Zoomify Unlimited Converter can rapidly convert PFF files and Zoomify Image Folders into ZIF files - losslessly (without recompression of tiles).
!	In order to ensure a quality product release focused on the most-used features of the Annotation Viewer, it has been necessary to delay support for some features included in prior Enterprise product versions. These include capturing the current view to a file and color support for some annotation elements.
